Michele Pappalardo was born in Minori on the Amalfi Coast where he now lives and works. From a young age he has been fascinated by the world of photography and started his career in the more traditional way as a photograper’s assistant in a studio on the coast.
In 1986 after much experience working in black and white and colour photography, he opened his own studio in Minori and has been working in the industry with great enthusiasm ever since.
His work ranges from portraits and advertisements to wedding photography. The latter has provided him with the inspiration to express his own personal style whilst capturing special moments during the ceremony and the magnificent scenery of the Amalfi coast.
He respects the bride and groom’s personalities and photographs them in a natural way.
He studied photography at secondary school in Salerno at the "Istituto d'Arte Statale Filiberto Menna" and then in Rome at the “Istituto Superiore di fotografia”.
